Berggren has again been recognized in the WTR 1000 survey which each year evaluates the world's leading trademark professionals. The firm is particularly pleased to announce that Berggren won the Gold Award for Prosecution and Strategy and the Bronze Award for Enforcement and Litigation.

The survey specifically recognized Paula Sailas, Hannu Halmetoja and Milla Lehtoranta noting that they all display "a robust knowledge of IP law and use this to maximise the value of clients’ intellectual assets by dispensing high-quality service and support at every stage of the trademark lifecycle.” WTR 1000 also recognizes Jukka Palm and newcomer Jenni Ihalainen in the 2023 survey. According to the survey “Jukka Palm is responsible for creating savvy strategies to ensure domestic and global protection of challenging portfolios, while Ihalainen draws on her nuanced understanding of trademark procedures from her time working as a judge at the Market Court to “adeptly manage very large trademark portfolios with quick turn-around times and a genuine interest in clients’ business needs”.
In the enforcement and litigation category, the WTR survey highlighted that “recent hire Matti Nousiainen joins his team in the rankings this year.
