Germany
Germany is not only the largest economy in the EEA but also an important European center for intellectual property. Munich is seat of the European Patent Office, the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), Federal Patent Court (BPatG), as well as the UPC Central and Local Divisions.
Berggren cooperates with the experienced German patent attorneys Sebastian Greding and Michael Braun, who are qualified to directly represent before these major institutions, all of which are within reach from Bergren’s office in the heart of Munich. Based on this cooperation, we provide services in German language for a variety of technical fields, including:
- patent and utility model application drafting,
- patent prosecution,
- oppositions and appeals at the EPO and DPMA,
- patent nullity and utility model cancellation proceedings before the BPatG, and
- proceedings before the UPC Central and Local Divisions in Munich.
