A novelty search (also known as "patent search" or "prior art search") is a process where previously published patents, patent applications, publications, and other documents are searched to determine the novelty and patent eligibility of an invention.
In determining the novelty, inventiveness, and uniqueness of your idea, we quickly find aspects that, if properly justified, can lead to the acquisition of strong intellectual property rights – and the creation of a successful product. We determine whether your idea is new and whether there are any patent publications on the topic. A novelty search can be a complex and time-consuming process.
Why is a novelty search important?
